Gray Entry Bench

I’d like to introduce you all to my new entry bench:

 
It’s the Safavieh American Collection Benjamin Bench (in grey) and I bought it from Amazon. At the time of purchase, it was $172.99 plus free shipping.  It’s available in four other colors, but the price varies by color. It’s also available on other sites, but Amazon was the cheapest.


I had originally planned on a white bench, but I couldn’t find one that I liked, so I decided to order the grey. I don’t love the grey in person, so I’ll probably end up painting it white. This same bench is available in white, but based on the pictures it’s a creamy, off-white and that wouldn’t look good with the rest of my white furniture.

I will admit that I’m not sure if I like it in this spot or not. I think it might be too large for the space…or maybe I’m just not used to seeing anything in that spot. I’m going to live with it for a couple days and then I’ll decide if I want to keep it there, try it somewhere else, or send it back.

What do you think? Maybe it just needs a couple pillows?

    I love that bench! You probably have to get used to it. I'm the same way when I move furniture or get new stuff. Once you get used to it, it's much better!
