It’s the most comfortable spot on the couch and it’s perfect for lounging while watching TV or reading. It’s also perfect for cuddling doggies =)
I’m not ashamed to admit that I spent an entire day in that spot binge watching the first season of Vikings while I was home sick one day. Abby spent most of the day sleeping on the cushion next to me. Actually, I’m pretty sure this picture of Ringo and I cuddling in that spot is from that day. If I hadn’t been sick, it would have been one of the best days ever…actually, it still was a great day.
The sectional is the Ethan from Broyhill and I bought it at a local furniture store (more details here). It’s my biggest furniture splurge to date, but it was totally worth it. If you are going to splurge, it should be on couches or beds IMHO. We’ve had it for two years and my only complaint is that some of the back cushions are starting to rip away from the back. Probably because Ringo likes to stand/lay up there and I don’t think they were built to hold a 65 pound dog day after day…
Anyway, the corner seat on our sectional is by far my favorite spot and I dream of being there while I’m stuck in my cubicle at work (least favorite spot).

Your living room looks so inviting and cozy. I love the sectional. My husband is dying for one but we are trying to squeeze the last bit of life out of our current couches. Your's is the perfect color for having pets :)
