Anyway, let’s get right into the progress I’ve made over the past week. The walls are officially painted! I picked Ethereal White from Behr and I’m pretty happy with the color. At first I thought it was a little too blue, but it’s grown on me over the past few days. I still need to paint the trim, but I’m so excited that the walls are done.
We also installed our new toilet! I know a toilet isn’t normally that exciting, but I’m so excited to finally have a standard height toilet in here. The old countertop extended over the toilet, so it had to be a shorty. Plus this one will also use way less water than the old one.
Right now we’re working on finishing the vanity area. The new countertop is on, but I still need to attach the backsplash piece. The new faucet is officially installed and working, so we can at least use the sink the meantime. I’ve also started painting the vanity navy, but it still needs one more coat and new hardware before it’s done. Hopefully I’ll have that all done for next week’s post.
