OK, let’s jump right into my progress over the last week. The most exciting change this week is the new mirror! It’s this carved wood Opalhouse mirror from Target and I love the details on the frame. I’m still a little unsure of the color though. It’s a little orange-y in person, but I don’t think it’s worth changing. I already like it more than when I first hung it a few days ago.
I also hung all of the frames for the artwork. The pair of white frames above the toilet are from Target (here) and the wood one above the towel bar is from Michael’s (here). All of the artwork was ordered from Etsy. I’m using this highland cow print from LILAxLOLA in the large frame and a pair of abstract watercolor landscapes from MyPaperHouseShop (here and here) in the white frames. I’ve ordered prints of the artwork, but they’re still waiting for me to pick them up at Costco.
Before next week’s reveal I need to paint the trim, install the pulls on the cabinet drawers, install the backsplash piece on the countertop, caulk all of the edges, add the artwork to the frames, find a new bath rug, and pull together all of the finishing touches. It’s definitely doable as long as I can find all of the remaining items I need at the store.
